How We Train Our Teachers

Practical, sustainable, and rooted in what works.

We believe great teachers are made, not born. Our training equips educators with skills they can use immediately, resources they can create themselves, and methods that honour how children actually learn.

Expert Led Training

Our training sessions are led by experienced educators who have spent years in the classroom. They don't just teach theory. They share what works in real classrooms with real children. Our expert trainers model techniques, demonstrate lessons, and work alongside trainees to build confidence and competence.

We believe teachers learn best from each other. That's why we use an "each one teach one" approach. Teachers who have been trained share their knowledge with others, creating a ripple effect across schools and communities. This builds a network of support and keeps learning going long after formal training ends.

Not every school has a budget for learning materials. So we teach teachers to create their own.

Using everyday items like toilet roll tubes, bottle caps, corn grains, and sand, teachers learn to make teaching aids that are effective, low-cost, and easy to replace. Children learn better when they can touch, hold, and manipulate materials. Our approach makes that possible in any classroom.

Education works best when it connects to culture. We encourage teachers to blend modern pedagogy with indigenous learning methods, drawing on local stories, songs, games, and traditions. This makes learning feel familiar to children and honours the communities we serve.

Young children are not designed to sit still and listen. They learn by doing, exploring, and playing. Our training shows teachers how to structure play-based activities that build literacy and numeracy skills while keeping children engaged and curious.

Technology is a tool, not a replacement for good teaching. We introduce teachers to simple, practical ways to use technology in their classrooms, from educational apps to digital resources. For teachers with limited access, we focus on what's possible with a smartphone and creativity.

Every trainee receives a resource pack to take back to their classroom. This includes teaching aids, activity guides, and practical materials so you can start using what you've learned right away.
